Good sale price on an item I need.

I bought some welding wire(after buying a welder and accessories, adding up into the thousands of dollars) from Northern Tool. The extra wire I purchased was tangled up and so my feeder couldn't pull it through the machine. This happens when the spool is loosely wound for whatever reason it is not tightly wound.
I called to have it simply replaced or refunded and was told they "couldn't help me because the 30 day period was up since I purchased it." I explained to them that it was a backup spool and so I hadn't opened it until I needed it. I offered to send them pictures of me opening it(before and after within the same two minutes.) I also took pictures of the spool caught up in my welder due to the problem. They were un-interested in doing anything, again, because of the 30 days.

To summarize, I spent my hard-earned money with these clowns who pretend to have integrity. They do not. Any company who wants to point out a 30 day policy instead of just correcting their issue, is not a company to waste your money with. For some reason, even after the price of everything has doubled or more, companies like this think it's ok to just stick it to the little guy some more... as if we don't have enough to figure out how to pay for. I will never shop with them again. I recommend that you don't either.

Our nonprofit purchased a DR premier string trimmer/mower On June 24, 2022. At the time there was a Promotion to get a gift card when purchasing a certain amount of goods. At the time of purchase the employee for Northern Tool dId not have any gift cards available at the cash register. I was told that the gift card would either be mailed or sent by email. Our email, phone number and address were verified with the Northern Tool employee. Three visits have been made and one phone call (9/12/22) were made to store 660, again our email, phone number and address were verified with a Northern Tool employee. A call was made to customer service (9/12/22). We were told that we had to send a copy of the receipt and what happened. A call was made to the regional manager and a message was left (9/12/2022). Who has the time to jump through hoops with Northern Tools behind a gift card, when they should have done their job in the first place. Well, our Nonprofit certainly does not have the time to keep chasing after a gift card. No stars are deserve for bad customer service, we just couldn’t go that low on the rating experience scale. Our nonprofit is so done with Northern Tools!!!

Product I ordered, price was very good, shipping was days sooner than I expected. Parts were of good quality. Great company to do business with.

This the second time I'm ordering from Northern Tool. The first time I ordered the welding table with tools and the experience was awesome. So far on my second order, a plasma cutting table, everything has gone exceptionally well and purchased it at a great price. Looking forward to receiving my plasma cutting table.

This small store leaves very little choices. Northern tool has poor customer service staff as many employees quit due to incompetent managers. Northern tool only hires young people according to their employees. Some employees told me they work there temporarily until they find a better job. They have plenty of cashiers waiting to take your money. Family owned means nepotism, no room for advancement. Since they are a small store in comparison, you pay hire prices than say, Walmart or Amazon. Incompetent manager/employees leads to hire prices with poor service. Good luck ordering online.

They took the amount of my order out TWICE, and now my account is overdrawn. They said its their policy and said they'd put back in my account in two to three days, but they haven't yet! Do yourself a big favor and shop somewhere else.

They are a real company and can probably send out what they have in their store/online.

If you have a problem with your order, their customer service is terrible though, good luck
